NINJA Island is a platform that connects tourists and local businesses on the Thai island of Koh Phangan. Our app lists local businesses, experiences, accommodations, jobs, and services, allowing businesses to promote themselves and sell their products directly to tourists & expats. Our app also features messaging capabilities, enabling seamless communication between tourists/expats and local businesses.
Our revenue model is based on commissions earned from businesses listing their products and services on our app and a fee for claiming listings on NINJA Island. We plan to seek $50,000 in seed funding to cover app development costs, marketing expenses, and operational costs for the first year.

Marketing & Sales Strategy:
Marketing Strategy: Our target customers are tourists and businesses on Koh Phangan. To reach them, we will use digital marketing channels such as social media advertising, search engine optimization, and content/influencer marketing. We will also partner with local hotels and travel agencies to promote our app to tourists.
Sales Strategy: Our app will be available for free download on the App Store and Google Play Store and accessible as Web App. We will make money by charging a commission on sales made through our platform and by offering premium features for businesses that want to increase their visibility on our app.
Financial Plan/ Exit Strategy/ Funds Required:
Financial Plan: The plan is to bootstrap the company and reinvest profits into the growth and improvement of the platform. We plan to charge $10 per month for each listing and take a 20% commission on vendor sales.
Based on our projections, we expect to generate $2,500 in monthly recurring revenue by the end of 2023 and $20,000 in total commissions from sales in our first year. Our operating expenses are expected to be $10,000, resulting in a net profit of $15,000.
In the second year, we aim to double our revenue and net profit. We will use the profits to improve our app's features, increase our marketing efforts, and expand our team.
Exit Strategy: Our exit strategy is to go public through an initial public offering (IPO) in 2 to 5 years and offer our community the possibility to become shareholders.
Funds Required: The app will be bootstrapped - We have internally a team to develop the app. Earnings from the app will be invested into further app development, marketing & the team.
